Jessica made her first Top 16 National Age Group time for the 11-12 girls at the EXCEL Spring Invitational in the 50y backstroke with a time of 28.56, which placed her 12th in the nation.  She also made a national time in the 50m back at the Mississippi Long Course State Championships with a time of 32.76, which again placed her 12th in the nation.

    Steffanie made National Age Group Top 16 for the second year in a row, placing 7th in the nation in the 200m backstroke with a time of 2:30.84 at the Southern Zone Championships.  She also placed 12th in the nation in the 400m IM with a time of 5:22.54 at the Southern Zone Championships.

    Steffanie made her first Top 16 National Age Group time for the 10 under girls at the Bama May Open in Tuscaloosa,  Alabama on May 20, 2001.  She swam a 1:16.11 in the 100 meter fly.  Steffanie continued to drop time and finally finished the season with a time of 1:15.33 swim at the Mississippi Long Course State Championships.  She also made NAG TOP 16 in the following events: 50m free 31.53, 50m  back 36.39, 100m  back 1:16.83, 50m  fly 34.16, and the 200m  IM 2:43.89.

Heather A. Stevens

2001 - 2002

    Heather made her National Age Group Top 16 time for the 10 and under girls by placing 8th in the nation with a time of 1:06.20 in the 100y backstroke, which she swam at the 2002 EXCEL Spring Invitational.  She also placed in two long course events, the 50m backstroke with a time of 35.51 at the Sunkist Invitational, which placed her 10th in the nation, and the 100m backstroke with a time of 1:15.95, which she swam at the Sunkist Invitational, placing her 9th in the nation.

    Ian made his Top 16 National Age Group time for the 11 and 12 boys at the Bama May Open in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on May 19, 2001.  He swam a time of 29.96 in the 50 m fly.  

    Robert  made his Top 16 National Age Group rankings at Age Group Region in Spartanburg,  South Carolina.   Robert was seated with a AAA time in the 50 yd. back and had an outstanding final.   He swam a time of 31.59 and finished fourth.   He also made the Top 16 list  in the 50 yd.  breast with a time of 34.67 and placed first at regions.   Robert swam the 100 yd. breast and placed third with a time of 1:16.93.   At the Biloxi Long Course Invitational,  Robert  made the Top 16 list in the 50 m breast with a time of 40.32.
    Robert placed sixth in the 50 yd breast, eleventh in the 100 yd breast, and thirteenth in the 50 m breast on the National Age Group Top 16 list during the 1997 - 98 swim season.
